I just did something I’ve never done before; I bought a miniature just to paint it.

The Firespitter Kickstarter caught my eye for one reason, I like that model. Even more so, I like the stretch goal, Baron von Fancyhat even more. Needless to say, they now have my money.

The people over at Goblin King Games are running this KS campaign a bit differently than most. Their upcoming game, Moonstone is currently in play-testing and to get some early funding, they are running a KS for one of the miniatures that is going to be in the game. The money they get from the  Firespitter Kickstarter will be used to further production of Moonstone. Think of it like a proof of concept. If the Firespitter is successful, it is a safe bet that there will be interest when Moonstone launchers later this year.

Keep an eye out for more from Goblin King Games. I must admit, I really like what I am seeing so far.
