
Gear up for Sturm und Schnee, a three-game swiss-style Bolt Action tournament set during the harsh heart of winter. Sharpen your tactics, pack your snow gear, and prepare for battle on the frozen front!
Sturm und Schnee is held during TundraCon 2026 on Saturday, Jan. 10. 2026 at the Hilton Garden Inn Oshkosh, located at 1355 W 20th Ave, Oshkosh, WI 54902.
Registration – Registration is open! To sign up for the event, register through TundraCon Tabletop.Events website. The event is capped at 24 players.
Event Cost – The event cost for Sturm und Schnee is $20. A TundraCon 2026 Badge ($15-$30) is also required.
Army Building Requirements
Forces for Sturm und Schnee are:
- 1,200pts
- No Order Dice cap
- No Platoon cap
- For Germany, forces must be built using Armies of Germany: Third Edition.
- For the United States, forces must be built using Armies of the United States: Third Edition.
- For Great Britain, forces must be built using Armies of Great Britain: Third Edition.
- For the Soviet Union, forces must be built using Armies of the Soviet Union: Third Edition.
- For Imperial Japan, forces must be built using the Bolt Action Third Edition Rulebook.
- For the 12 “Minor Powers”, forces must be built using the Further Axis & Allied Nations PDFs.
- The event will use the latest Bolt Action FAQ & Errata as of Dec. 1, 2025.
The Ban List – These rules and units are not allowed at Sturm und Schnee:
- Units and Force Selectors from the Bolt Action Compendium are not allowed.
- Any rules, books, updates, etc., published after Dec. 12, 2025, will not be allowed.
Model Requirements
All models used at Sturm und Schnee must:
- Be WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).
- In other words, proxy models are not allowed.
- Have a minimum of three colors.
- Be based.
Any models that do not meet these requirements will not be allowed on the table.

Army Lists
Army List Submission – Players are required to submit Army Lists in advance for review. Lists are due by Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. Submit to Ian at mccurdyian1@gmail.com. Late or improperly formatted lists may be penalized or disqualified from consideration for prizes.
You should bring four copies of your list to the event. One copy for you and one for each opponent.
Note on EasyArmy, 2nd in Command, and Warlord Games App – No matter what app or website you use to build your list, double-check your points against the Rulebook, Armies of, and Minor Nation PDFs.
